His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, presented a rare original historical manuscript to the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA).

Sir Bu Nair Island, a Safe Haven for Rare Creatures
Around midnight on June 1, a hawksbill turtle landed on the Sir Bu Nair Island. It’s one of the many that began arriving three months ago to nest on the island, bringing the number of nests to more than 300 spread across 27 beaches. The hawksbill turtle lays between 90 to 110 eggs and quietly returns to the sea, leaving eggs to hatch in 50 to 70 days. Part of Sharjah, Sir Bu Nair is situated around 110 km north off the Emirate’s coast.

Sharjah Ruler Launches First 17 Volumes of ‘Historical Corpus of the Arabic Language’
A historical cultural feat for the Arab world has been attained, as His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, released the first 17 volumes of the Historical Corpus of the Arabic Language – the first-of-its kind project to chronicle 17 centuries of development in the Arabic language, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
